I-SERIES Indications for Use: The I-Series Peritoneal Dialysis Catheter is indicated for short-term or long-term use where peritoneal access is required for the purpose of peritoneal dialysis for Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) or Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Contraindications: The catheter is not intended for the Tenckhoff trocar method of insertion. The catheter is contraindicated for patients with: Infected anterior abdominal wall. Active peritonitis. Known or suspected allergies to any of the components of the catheter or the kit. TITANIUM LUER ADAPTOR Indications for Use: The Medcomp® Titanium Barbed Luer Lock Adaptor is indicated for long-term use as a connection point for peritoneal dialysis catheters and male luers. Contraindications: Known or suspected allergies to the device. PD CATHETER STYLET Indications for Use: The Medcomp® Peritoneal Catheter Stylet is indicated for transient use to keep a peritoneal dialysis catheter straight and maneuverable during insertion into the peritoneum. Contraindications: Known or suspected allergies to the device. PD CATHETER TUNNELER Indications for Use: The Medcomp® Peritoneal Catheter Tunneler is indicated for transient use to dissect tissue to create the subcutaneous tunnel opening for the placement of a Medcomp® peritoneal dialysis catheter.
