Important Risk Information PRO-LINE® Indications for Use: The Medcomp® Pro-Line® CT Power Injectable CVC is indicated for short or long term access to the central venous system. It is designed for administering I.V. fluids, blood products, drugs, and parenteral nutrition solutions, as well as blood withdrawal and power injection of contrast media. The maximum recommended infusion rate is 5cc/sec. The maximumpressure of power injectors used with the Pro-Line® CT Power Injectable CVC may not exceed 300psi. The Medcomp® 6F Triple Pro-Line® CT Power Injectable CVC is indicated for short or long term access to the central venous system. It is designed for administering I.V. fluids, blood products, drugs, and parenteral nutrition solutions, as well as blood withdrawal, allows for central venous pressure monitoring and power injection of contrast media. The maximum recommended infusion rate is 5cc/sec. The maximum pressure of power injectors used with the Pro-Line® CT Power Injectable CVC may not exceed 300psi. Catheter testing included 10 power injection cycles. It may be inserted percutaneously and is primarily placed in the internal jugular vein. Alternate insertion sites include the subclavian vein. Contraindications: The presence of device related infection, bacteremia, or septicemia is known or suspected. This catheter is intended for short or long-term vascular access and should not be used for any purpose other than indicated in these instructions. The patient is known or is suspected to be allergic to materials contained in the device. VASCU-LINE® Indications for Use: Vascu-Line Central Vein Catheters are designed for Short-Term and Long-Term central venous catheterization (intravenous administration of fluids, medications, and/or when nutritional therapy is prescribed). It may be inserted percutaneously and is primarily placed in the internal jugular vein. Alternate insertion sites include the subclavian vein. Contraindications: The presence of device related infection, bacteremia, or septicemia is known or suspected. This catheter is intended for short or long-term vascular access and should not be used for any purpose other than indicated in these instructions.
