LONG TERM Pro-Line® CVC Catheter SHORT TERM Tri-Flow CENTRAL VEIN INFUSION CATHETERS IMPORTANT RISK INFORMATION PRO-LINE® Indications for Use: The Medcomp® Pro-Line™ CT Power Injectable CVC is indicated for short or long term access to the central venous system. It is designed for administering I.V. fluids, blood products, drugs and parenteral nutrition solutions, as well as blood withdrawal and power injection of contrast media. The maximum recommended infusion rate is 5cc/sec. The maximum pressure of power injectors used with the Pro-Line™ CT Power Injectable CVC may not exceed 300 psi. Contraindications: The presence of device related infection, bacteremia, or septicemia is known or suspected. This catheter is intended for short or long-term vascular access and should not be used for any purpose other than indicated in these instructions. The patient is known or is suspected to be allergic to materials contained in the device. CVC CATHETER Indications for Use: The Medcomp® LT CVC Catheter is designed for long-term central venous access. It can be used for total parenteral nutrition (TPN), infusion of I.V. liquids, blood, blood products and drugs. It can also be used for repeated withdrawal of blood samples. Contraindications: This catheter is NOT intended for any use other than that which is indicated. It is NOT recommended for use in hemodialysis or in hemoperfusion procedures, nor in patients with severe chronic obstructive lung disease. TRI-FLOW Indications for Use: The Medcomp® Tri-Flow Triple Lumen Catheter is designed for acute central vein catheterization, TPN, fluid administration, drug infusion, and continuous therpies. It may be inserted percutaneously and is ideally placed in the internal jugular vein. Although this catheter may be inserted into the subclavian or femoral vein, the internal jugular is the preferred site. Contraindications: This catheter is not intended for dialysis, or any use other than that which is indicated. Do not implant catheter in thrombosed vessels. Refer to Instructions for Use provided with the product for complete instructions, warnings, precautions, and contraindications. Observe all instructions for use prior to using products.
