ACCESSORIES Micro-Stick® Peelable Introducers Guidewires Dilators Tunnelers Introducer Needles C-Arm Drapes Probe Cover Kits Vein Pick Repair Kit IMPORTANT RISK INFORMATION MICRO-STICK® Indications for Use: The Micro-Stick® Set is indicated for percutaneous introduction of up to a 0.038 inch guidewire or catheter into the vascular system following a small 21 gauge needle stick. The Micro-Stick® Set is not intended for use in the coronary or cerebral vasculature. PEELABLE INTRODUCERS Indications for Use: The Valved Peelable Introducers are intended to obtain central venous access to facilitate catheter insertion into the central venous system. The Super Sheath Introducer is intended to obtain central venous access to facilitate catheter insertion or placing pacing leads into the central venous system. The Super Sheath is compatible with a 0.018” or smaller guidewire. Contraindications: The Valved Peelable Introducer and Super Sheath Introducer are not designed for use in the arterial system or as a hemostatic device. DILATORS Indications for Use: The Medcomp® vessel dilators are designed for percutaneous entry into a vessel in order to enlarge the opening of the vessel for the placement of a catheter in a vein or artery. PROBE COVER KITS Indications for Use: Transducer Probe Cover can be used to minimize contamination between patient and ultrasound probe during ultrasound scanning procedures for external intact skin. This may help with easier cleaning and disinfection of the probe. This product is not intended for use of probes with endo cavity or intraoperative use. Ultrasonic Transducer Cover are also sold as bulk nonsterile, single use items, to repackager/relabeler establishments for further packaging and ethylene oxide sterilization. VEIN PICK Indications for Use: Instrument designed to facilitate catheter placement into vessel. TESIO® REPAIR KIT Indications for Use: The Medcomp® Tesio® Catheter is designed for Long Term Hemodialysis and Apheresis. It may be inserted percutaneously, and is ideally placed in the internal jugular vein. Although this catheter may be inserted into the subclavian vein, the internal jugular vein is the preferred site. Contraindications: This extension is not intended for any use other than that which is indicated. To maintain peak performance of the extension, it is recommended that the extensions be replaced every 6 months. MEDCOMP® REPAIR KIT Indications for Use: The MedComp® Repair Kit is indicated for use in replacing damaged female luer connectors, clamps, or repairing extensions where there is a minimum of 4.5cm viable extension tubing. Repairs Medcomp® Catheters: Split Cath® Contraindications: Do not use to repair catheters other than those specified above. Do not replace connector if tubing is swollen or displays signs of degradation. This repair kit should not be used for any purpose other than indicated in these instructions. Refer to Instructions for Use provided with the product for complete instructions, warnings, precautions, and contraindications. Observe all instructions for use prior to using products.
